Logging in

Your company has its own Omnir address, such as yourcompany.omnir.com. Your administrator sends it to you with your username.

  1. 1
Open your workspace address in a web browser.
  2. 2
    Enter your Username and Password.
  3. 3
    Click Log In.
  4. 4
If two-factor authentication is turned on for you, enter the 6-digit code from your authenticator app.
  5. 5
You land on the Dashboard, your home base.
Important:Never share your password. If you forget it, click Forgot password on the login page: Omnir emails you a 6-digit code to set a new one. Your administrator can also help.

Setting up your profile

Take two minutes to set up your profile, so colleagues can recognise you and records are assigned to you correctly.

  1. 1
Click the person icon in the top-right corner.
  2. 2
    Choose My Preferences.
  3. 3
Click Edit, then fill in your name, email address and phone number.
  4. 4
Add a profile photo if you like — it helps your team recognise you.
  5. 5
    Click Save.

Your time zone, date format and time format are under Calendar Settings, in the panel on the left of My Preferences. The buttons at the top of My Preferences let you set up Two-Factor Authentication and create API keys if you connect other tools.

Changing your password

  1. 1
Open My Preferences from the person icon in the top-right corner.
  2. 2
    Click More, then Change Password.
  3. 3
Enter your Old Password, then the new one in New Password and Confirm Password.
  4. 4
    Click Save.

Understanding your role

Your administrator gives you a role. It decides which modules you can open and which records you can see and change. Typical roles look like this:

RoleTypical access
AdministratorEverything, including Settings.
SalesLeads, Contacts, Organizations, Opportunities, Quotes, Calendar.
SupportTickets, Contacts, Organizations, Documents.
MarketingCampaigns, Leads, Contacts, Reports.
ManagerBroader access, including Reports and their team’s records.
Note:If you can’t see a module you need, your role probably doesn’t include it. Ask your administrator to change your access.
