The Dashboard is the first screen after you log in. It shows the numbers and activities that matter most, so you don’t have to open each module to understand your day.
What’s on the dashboard
The dashboard is made of widgets, small panels that each show one thing. Common ones are:
| Widget | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Cards (Add Widget ▸ Add card) | A count or total from a filter you choose, with its trend. |
| Upcoming and overdue activities | Your calls, meetings and tasks. |
| Pipeline and opportunities | Your open deals, by stage or as a funnel. |
| Leads | New leads, for example by status, source or industry. |
| Tickets | Open tickets that need attention. |
| Report charts | The chart of any report you add to the dashboard. |
Reading the dashboard
Each morning, use the dashboard to answer four questions:
- 1Which tickets need me today?
- 2Which calls and meetings do I have?
- 3How does my pipeline look?
- 4Have new leads been assigned to me?
Tip:Five minutes on the dashboard each morning replaces checking several spreadsheets and email threads.
Going further from a widget
- Click a record name to open that record.
- Click a chart bar or slice to open the records behind it in a new tab.
- Use a widget’s ⋮ menu to refresh it, view it full screen or remove it. Click its filter (funnel) icon to change what it shows.
Making the dashboard your own
- 1Click Add Widget at the top of the dashboard and pick a widget.
- 2Drag widgets by their header to rearrange them.
- 3Remove a widget from its ⋮ menu (a card, with the × that appears when you point at it).
Note:Your dashboard is personal: changing it doesn’t change what your colleagues see.
Several dashboards
You can keep more than one dashboard — for example Sales, Support and Management. Click Add new dashboard to create one. Switch between them with the dashboard-name dropdown at the top, where you can also rename, delete or reorder them.
